Lavender Meadows

Sequim, Washington is well-known to airline pilots. They call it the “blue hole” – largely because this gorgeous neck of the woods is safely tucked behind the Olympic Mountains – famous for their beauty and glaciers – to the southwest, which protects it from extreme weather patterns.

The City of Sequim (pronounced “S’Kwim”), and the surrounding Sequim-Dungeness Valley, is located on the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the north coast of Washington State near the base of the Olympic Mountains. Sequim is about two hours away from the metropolitan cities of Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia and is a gateway to the Olympic Peninsula and its numerous tourist attractions.
